Christoforos Nikou, 80, of Lincoln, RI, passed peacefully at home after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family on January 30, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Alexandra (Stratis) Nikou for 51 years. Born in Lia, Greece, he was the son of the late Konstantine and Olga (Tsonis) Nikou.

Christoforos immigrated to the United States in 1969 from Greece, settling in Lincoln, RI. In 1972 he established the House of Pizza, on Division St., Pawtucket, along with his partners, Ioannis and George Stratis, and worked there for 48 years. He was a dedicated worker, a generous soul, and an avid Boston Celtics and Red Sox fan. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Besides his beloved wife he is survived by two children, Charles Nikou and his wife Leslie, of North Attleboro, MA, and Olga Nikou and her husband Panagiotis Perrakis, of Athens, Greece; four grandchildren, Alexandra and Samantha Nikou, Nikolas and Alexandra Perrakis; two sisters, Stamatia Fragedakis and Sotiria Kamtsadeli, both of Greece; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 4th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday, February 5th at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket, RI. Interment will follow at Knollwood Cemetery, Canton, MA. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in his memory to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott St., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
